The Intelligence Dispatch
Analyst update — 20 August
- Production release
- Analyst
- Dispatch
Attach files and @ mentions in the composer, clickable records in charts and tables, chart export, and on-site time in warehouse answers.
The job
When you are looking at one order or a chart, you want to attach the file or record you mean and take the chart with you, so the question stays about that work.
What changed
- Files in the message boxAttach a spreadsheet or image from the composer so the Analyst can use it with the question.
- @ mentions with a date rangeType @ to search orders, tickets, and other records. You can change how far back that search looks.
- Records stay chips in charts and tablesCustomer, order, and ticket names stay clickable in grids and chart data, not only in the written answer.
- One view at a timeA chart answer does not also repeat the same numbers as a table unless you ask for both. You can switch a chart to a grid from the chart menu.
- Chart downloadExport chart data as CSV or Excel from the chart menu, and cap how many points the chart shows.
- On-site timeYou can ask for time on site, including averages across customers, using arrive-job and leave-job times in the warehouse.
- Questions about another entity stay scopedAsking about a different company or plant does not relabel the record you already have open.
- Oversized screen contextIf the open record is too large to send in full, the chat says what was trimmed instead of failing without explanation.
- Rating a failed turnThumbs still work after a turn that did not finish cleanly. Client-only error notices do not show thumbs.
Why
A question was stuck to whatever was already on screen, and the numbers in a chart could not leave the panel.
Impact
Attach a file, mention a record, or download the chart. If the open record is too large, the chat tells you what was left out. You can still rate an answer that did not finish cleanly.
Try it
From the order list
- Compare average on-site time across my top customers this year.
- Show me a chart of tickets completed by plant this week.
- @ mention an order, then ask what is late on it.
Still true
The Analyst reads from your operational data warehouse, so figures can lag the live screen by a short interval. Verify on the record before acting. It cannot hold, void, or change anything.
Rate the answers in the panel, and tell us when a number looks wrong. That feedback is what sets the next release.
